Synopse
After the death of her mother Misa stays with her grandmother up in the Northern tip of Sweden. In the dense forests she not only finds comfort and refuge but also becomes friends with a female wolf. When Misa learns that poachers are roaming about to kill the wolf, she decides to help her and her cubs. But that is easier said than done. Fortunately she meets the Saami boy Gustav, who belongs to a Nordic ethnic group that lives in harmony with nature and makes a living on breeding and hunting reindeer. Her friendship with Gustav but also the growing relationship with her grandmother along with her affection for the wolves make Misa finally overcome her grief. This atmospheric emotional drama with its impressive natural scenery stands in the long tradition of Swedish children's films.
