Synopse

The story unravels in the village of Mourinov, which lies "at the end of the road". The inhabitants naturally long to become a "through-road" village and they realize they must draw attention to themselves. As they have among them a champion in enticing stags in rut, they decide to hold a european championship in this interesting discipline. The whole village is involved in the preparations – and also in some budding relationships. The preparations influence their lives as much as these relationships influence the preparations for the championships.
