Synopse
The last guests of the season gather at a hotel in the Serbian mountains. They have come to finally face their traumas. At least that's the plan of their Slovenian therapist Ivan. But no sooner have the former Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian enemies sat down than the seminar room becomes a battleground, criss-crossed with emotional trenches, which no amount of schnaps and old songs will remove. Alen Drljević has assembled the best acting talent from ex-Yugoslavia for his psychological chamber piece, which was rewarded with two prizes at the Karlovy Vary festival.
Regie
ALEN DRLJEVIĆ (*1968) studied direction in Sarajevo and was nominated for the European Film Prize for his short documentary Prva Plata (2005). Men Don‘t Cry is his debut feature.
