Synopse
In this mysterious drama by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Tilda Swinton suffers from aural hallucinations. One night, Jessica, an English resident of Columbia, is woken by a loud explosion. From this moment on, her life is not the same. When she visits her sister Karen in hospital, she realises that she is being accompanied by strange noises – which apparently no-one else can hear. Jessica becomes friends with the archaeologist Agnes (Jeanne Balibar), who is examining human remains found during construction work on a tunnel. Gradually Jessica gets the uneasy feeling that the noises could be a form of aural premonition.
