Synopse
As the rest of the world revels in the cool summer Olympics in Australia. Widower Mauricio celebrates his 60th birthday alone in Havana, reflecting on the crises that have rattled his life. He left his family to study in Moscow; now with the downfall of European communism, Cuba must also reinvent itself. Many Cubans dream of leaving their island, fed up with economic hardships laid upon them.
