Synopse

Terri and her boyfriend Sandile are the perfect couple. In fact, Terri thinks: too perfect. The sex hotline worker longs for freedom and decides to go and work in 198 as an English teacher. But she hasn't counted on the massive resistance from her family and boyfriend, who above all want Terri and Sandile to stay together. Meanwhile, on the other side of town Eugene is stricken with lovesickness. He can't get over the split with his fiancée and hopes for a second chance via her younger brother. One night, he ends up talking to Terri on the sex hotline and falls for her, creating the connection between the two stories – and all kinds of complications. Love the one you love is a romcom which also portrays the Utopia of the multiethnic society in South Africa.
