Synopse
Possibly the oldest romantic hero at FILMFEST HAMBURG: love and lust are still very prevalent in the life of writer Max Kohn (Otto Tausig), almost 80 years old. Austrian emigrant Max is a gentle character who inadvertently stumbles into women’s arms and hearts (incl. those of Barbara Hershey, Tovah Feldshuh and Rhea Perlman). Jan Schütte has fused three stories by Nobel Prize winner Isaach Bashevis Singer to a melancholy declaration of love to life and the ultimate victory of love over death.
