Synopse

Lou lives in rural Australia with her mother Rhia and two little sisters. Her father has left the family. As Lou blames her mother for the situation, she is not on good terms with her ever since. Around Christmas Doyle, Rhia's father-in-law, temporarily moves in with them. The old man suffers from Alzheimer's and mainly lives in the past. He takes Lou for his wife Annie who split up with him years ago. Lou doesn't know what to think of that. To pay her mother back she encourages Doyle's illusion though and soon develops a close relationship to him.

Regie
