Synopse

"Lost Pictures ∞ Lost Memory?" oscillates between a filmic essay and a chain of interviews, associative cuts and intuitive leaps in time. Geissler explores the world of thoughts of the last 100 years and reflects different perspectives as taken by historians, philosophers, partisans, writersand survivors of totalitarian regimes. A film about the silence, fear, power and curse of memory. In Geissler's own words: "a psycho-thriller".

Benjamin Geissler, born in 1964, author, director, DoP (Director of Photography), editor, producer. Besides editorial work on c. 140 feature film synchronizations, his work includes"Vincenzo Floridia oder Die letzte Rose von Noto" (1995) and "Zeitsprung" (2002).
