Synopse
Oscar-winner Paolo Sorrentino tells the opulent story of the life of Silvio Berlusconi, who still polarizes Italian society today. Italy. Everyone corrupts everyone and everything revolves around the permanently cheerful cavaliere, Silvio Berlusconi. He promises paradise and everyone wants a piece: Sergio, the little pimp from the provinces with his beautiful assistant, and the elder statesmen of Rome who are trying to take the political reins behind his back. In reality, the cavaliere is hiding away in his summer residence on Sardinia, voted out and burnt out. It's not just his wife Veronica who has seen through his tricks and despises him. But when he hears of the intrigues against him, his brilliant salesman's instinct comes to the surface. He knows better than anyone else how to seduce people.
