Synopse

In this autobiographically inspired drama, co-director and leading actor Andréa Bescond deals unsparingly yet humorously with the consequences of her sexual abuse. 8-year old Odette loves to paint and to laugh. What should she be afraid of when a friend of her parents asks if he can tickle her? The signals that the girl then sends her parents aren't recognized – and later Odette tries to process what she's experienced in dance form. In her late 30s she's a sought-after dancer. Even if her everyday life is still affected by the wounds of her trauma, she's confident and free-thinking enough to fight with passion and humour for her personal sovereignty.

ANDRÉA BESCOND (*1979) ist Tänzerin, Regisseurin und Schauspielerin. Little Tickles ist ihr Spielfilmdebüt und feierte dieses Jahr in Cannes in der Reihe Un Certain Regard Premiere. Der Film basiert auf ihrem Stück Les Chatouilles, das sie gemeinsam mit dem Schauspieler und Regisseur ÉRIC MÉTAYER (*1958) bereits 2014 für die Theaterbühne inszenierte.
