Synopse
Sensuous and provocative: Isabel Sandoval tells the astonishingly frank story of the political and sexual awakening of a disempowered woman. The Philippine transwoman Olivia lives under the radar of the authorities in the USA and looks after Olga, an elderly Russian lady, in Brooklyn. Olivia has already tried in vain everything she can to acquire legal residence status and now she is threatened with deportation. A marriage of convenience to Olga‘s grandson, a simple slaughterhouse worker, is the plan to get Olivia a green card, but genuine feelings of love ensue – the only problem being that not everyone involved knows that Olivia is transgender.
