Synopse
Three stories about three people in Reykjavik: a writer, who as a young man wrote a bestseller and who has become an alcoholic after his divorce. A single mum who can't get by on her salary as a kindergarten teacher and secretly goes on the game. And a former professional footballer who rises to become a big player at a bank and in doing so puts his family life and integrity on the line. Three destinies whose paths cross and form a gloomy panorama of Icelandic society on the eve of the financial crisis of 2008.
Regie
Baldvin Z started out shooting commercials and music videos, before he had great success at festivals with his debut feature Jitters. Life in a Fishbowl, his second film, managed to push blockbusters like Godzilla and X-Men off the top spots on its release in Iceland.
