ANOCHA SUWICHAKORNPONG (*1976) studierte Film an der Columbia University und realisierte mit ihrem Abschlussfilm "Graceland" den ersten thailändischen Kurzfilm, der in Cannes lief. Mit ihrem ersten Langfilm "Mundane History" gewann sie zahlreiche Preise. "By the Time it gets Dark" ist ihr zweiter langer Film und lief im offiziellen Wettbewerb in Locarno. BEN RIVERS (*1972) ist ein britischer Regisseur, der sich in seinen Arbeiten zwischen Kunst und experimentellem Kino bewegt.
