Synopse
Guilt. Desire. Thirst. A godforsaken village in the mountains of Croatia is home to a young footballer (Kresimir Mikic), a miserly peasant farmer (Ivo Gregurevic) and an overweight young woman (Areta Curkovic). As the region makes up its mind as to whether to join the E.U., the three heroes are involved in an accidental killing, a longing for love that ends in a pigsty, and the discovery that loneliness weighs heavier than miserliness. A tragicomic and bulky ballad after the novel by Damir Karakas.
