Synopse
The world knows near to nothing of North Korea. Kim Jong’s "democratic" republic is a totalitarian nightmare. When director N.C. Heikin heard refugee Kang Chol-hwan tell the story of his childhood marked by concentration camps, impoverishment and spying, she knew that she had to make a film about this country. She combined interviews with refugeeswith official North Korean images and artistic performances to create an innovative, very serious and highly informative film.
