Synopse

The six-part documentary series show how politics and the media work nowadays. FILMFEST HAMBURG presents three selected episodes of this long-term study. SPD upcoming hopeful Kevin Kühnert is fighting for the core brand and thus the future of Germany’s oldest political party. From October 2018 to the latest general election in 2021, the directors accompanied the young politician and gained exclusive insights of the party’s interior. They show how Kühnert provokes debates, makes the Juso young socialists a power factor in Willy-Brandt-Haus and contributes to the election of both left-wing candidates.
