Synopse

A phone call brings chaos to lives of twin sisters Sofie and Daan: their Mother Jackie is in hospital with a broken leg in the USA.Sofie and Daan have never seen their mother: for Daan she is merely the "egg supplier" who enabled her two gay fathers to fulfill their wish for parenthood in the1970s. The sisters fly to America and meet their mother, an eccentric hippy. In Jackie's rusty old camper van, the three women undertake a journey across New Mexico to a rehab clinic. Jackie is a very entertaining, off-the-wall road movie with a wonderful Holly Hunter in the leading role.
