Synopse
Every year the grandchildren spent their summer holiday in the country at their grandparent's house. The children between six and sixteen love this holiday not least because of the unusual ideas their grandparents, who formerly were circus clowns, tend to come up with. Whereas the teenagers meet their village friends at the lakeside, the youngsters go on a treasure hunt. But this summer everything is a bit different. The grandparents owe the local building constructor money and he speculates with their property for laying out a golf course - or that is what he claims. With the help of their friends the children find out that he actually wants to build a waste disposal plant. The children team up with the adults to prevent this plan. There is not much time left, since the grandparents got a deadline for repaying their debts. This is when they remember their former colleagues from the circus.
