Synopse
ANIMATION A coming-of-age story and a gripping adventure full of humour and imagination. 11-year old Christophe’s world is being turned upside down. Not only does he keep falling over, but also the family farm is in financial difficulties. He is fitted with an iron corset to strengthen his spine and stop his sudden falls. While his father is unhappy about his son being unavailable to help in the fields, for Christophe the corset means an opportunity for freedom. He falls in love with music and can lose himself completely in the cascade of notes when he plays the organ. When Clara enters his life, Christophe discovers how going astray can lead you to the straight and narrow.

Louis Clichy is a French animation director, who achieved acclaim through his work on Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion (2018), Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods (2014), Up (2009) and WALL·E (2008). Iron Boy won the Special Jury Prize in the section Un Certain Regard at Cannes.
