Synopse
Argentinien in the 1960s. Luisa has lost her husband and brother in a car accident and now has to look after her twins alone. Her mother supports her as best she can, but the women agree that the children need a proper family again soon. When charming Ernesto comes into her life, Luisa immediately feels drawn to her middle-aged admirer. He soon asks her to marry him. Luisa is still suffering from the loss of her husband and the pressure of creating a stable background for her daughters, so she doesn't question Ernesto's intentions. But does he have ulterior motives she knows nothing about? In brilliant monochrome photography, the film portrays the dilemma of the single mum and frankly exposes the workings of a family.
