Synopse

DOCUMENTARY La Pépinière, an institution for handicapped young people in Northern France, has lots of space - for music, art and sport. The young inmates live like a large family on site. They learn, in a creative way, to gain self-respect and master everyday life. The trusted relationship between the two directors and the teenagers make the film a moving experience.

CAROLINE CAPELLE (*1988) und OMBLINE LEY (*1988) machten beide ihren Abschluss an der École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris und gründeten 2013 das Künstlerkollektiv Collectif Nou. Sie leben und arbeiten in Paris.
