Synopse
DOCUMENTARY In direct proximity and yet without contact: in West Jordan, Israeli settlers and Palestinian farmers live side by side – in separate worlds. Omar brings his Palestinian family from their town house to bleak Mount Hebron, where they will all take care of his sheep farm. The heighbouring farm belongs to Jewish settler Avidan, who has put down roots with a group of kindred spirits, also intending to raise sheep in the barren landscape. Avner Faingulernt documents these two hermetic worlds in a radical, but logical form: as two separate films which, when viewed together, form a diptych. We first show "Omar's Deam" and, after a 20 minute interval, "Avidan's Dream".
