Synopse
Puerto Colombia, a village on the Columbian coast. Cosme looks out to sea and searches the beach. When the waves wash a dead body up, he hands it over to the authorities. An almost daily occurrence in Puerto Colombia. Often it's victims of the conflict between the Columbian military and the guerillas, carelessly thrown in the river and then carried out to sea. Another such victim is the uncle of a young woman, Hellen, who died in the guerilla war. In the hope of finding and identifying him, she travels to Puerto Colombia and asks Cosme the body finder for help. Immortal straddles the border between documentary and feature film and is a philosophical and poetic settling of accounts with the endemic violence in Columbia.
