Synopse

Spanish backpacker Esperanza (Tania Martinez) meets cynical student Tristeza (Cecilia Vallejo) on an Ecuadorian bus. Then a strike requires them to hitchhike and meet a very thin man carrying his grandmother's ashes. The Andes are a suitably impressive backdrop to this humorous roadmovie about two young women, and their hopes and aspirations, which won the Audience Awards at the film festivals of Rio de Janeira and Sao Paulo.
