Synopse
A slum on the edge of Casablanca at the turn of the millennium. A group of boys are growing up in a violent environment. With his father mentally ill, the family of 10-year old Jachine scrapes by on what his mother earns. Head of the family is 13-year old Hamid, who's also the leader of the local gang. After years in jail, Hamid is released shortly after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. During his time in prison he has become a religious zealot and he persuades Jachine and his childhood friends to join the Islamists. One day, they learn that they have been chosen to be martyrs.
