Synopse
Scenes from a marriage: Annette Bening and Bill Nighy star in a razor-sharp drama about a couple united in the pain of separation. It's supposed to be a relaxed weekend, but when Jamie (Josh O'Connor) visits his parents Grace (Annette Bening) and Edward (Bill Nighy) in their house on the Sussex coast, he has no idea that it will change his life for ever. No sooner has he arrived than his father confesses that he plans to leave Jamie’s mother, his wife of more than 30 years. The initial shock soon turns to anger and a painstaking search for mistakes ensues. Against the backdrop of the chalk cliffs of Sussex a verbal exchange of blows begins, with trenchant barbs and tender contempt which shake the family to the core.
