Synopse
DOCUMENTARY A journey into the American heart of darkness – with a tension-filled insight into political radicalisation. It’s 2020, the USA is gripped by the heated election contest. The film accompanies three conservatives who have dedicated themselves to supporting Donald Trump: an expectant father in New Jersey, a Proud Boys activist from Texas, who seeks contact to the Black Lives Matter movement, and an Air Force veteran in New York. Layer for layer, the film reveals the fears and beliefs, the hopes and conspiracy theories which drive the protagonists. And which ultimately lead them to attack the democratic order by storming the Capitol.
