Synopse
In 2009, three decades of bloody civil war between the government and Tamil rebels in Sri Lanka came to an end. Him, Here, After is the first film to deal with the immediate afermath. A rebel fighter from the Tamil Tigers returns to his home village to start a new existence. Here, he meets again the woman he still loves, but the locals view the former enemy with great suspicion. One special feature of the film is that the Sinhalese director, a member of the majority population, tells his story in Tamil, the language of the largest minority.
