Synopse

13-year-old Esther doesn’t fit in anywhere: at an expensive private school she is teased with the nickname “Cheeseburger”, she is not Jewish enough for her twin brother’s liking and her parents disapprove of her rebellious behaviour. When she meets the cool Sunni, her life changes dramatically. Of her own accord, she changes to Sunni’s state school and all but reinvents herself. She enjoys a rise in popularity, but soon realizes that her new identity cannot be kept secret forever.
