Synopse
18-year old Joy is missing. The young actress Helen slips into her role for a TV film, through which the police hopes to receive tips from the population. While Helen grew up in various children's homes, Joy had a family, friends and a promising future. Helen increasingly identifies with Joy, visiting places and people that were of importance to her, and must ultimately face the issue of whether she wants to find out what happened to Joy or whether she is seeking her own identity. An unconventional, fresh perspective typical of high quality British cinema.
