Synopse
It starts with the facade of an intact family: Father's birthday is being celebrated, the guests are in high spirits, chatting and dancing. But for son Markus (Andreas Döhler) it's the start of an existential crisis. When his own son returns from a visit to the loo in the care of his grandma (Katrin Pollitt) with a small cut, memories of Markus' own childhood abuse at the hands of his mother shoot into his head. Markus and his wife (Jessica Schwarz) are confronted with an unthinkable truth that threatens the very basis of their existence. Sober, precise and thus all the more convincing, the film deals with a rarely broached taboo.
