Synopse
Hamburg in the 1970s: the Star Club which made stars out of the Beatles closes down, Onkel Pö, another charismatic live venue, opens, the so-called Hamburger Szene is gingerly blossoming. Germany in the 1970s: terrorism, oil crisis. A perfect mix of original reportages and interviews with contemporary witnesses, including soccer legend Uwe Seeler, brings this unique city alive to the big screen.
Regie
Christian Mangels (*1962) is a journalist and historian. Since 1994 he works as a free lance journalist and author of TV-specials with mainly contemporary historical content for series like Hamburg in the 20th century.
