Synopse

CLOSING FILM Armand's life is in chaos. His marriage is over, but his melancholy wife can only separate in stages. This riles his fiery lover Alix. Torn between two very different women, Armand seeks refuge in his private passion: magic. Then a third woman enters his life: his grandmother Berthe. She's dead and Armand has to organize the funeral. He prefers the cheaper cremation option and discovers two men in Paris that specialize in animal cremation and make urns out of thermos flasks. His mother-in-law suggests an expensive, kitschy alternative. But for Armand, another question is becoming more important: who exactly was Berthe? He begins researching and turns up some surprising answers. A turbulent tour of last resting places, as funny as it is macabre.
