Synopse
A woman with amnesia returns against her will to her former life. This Polish psychodrama is a fascinating and disturbing journey into a dark past. Two years ago, Alicja lost her memory and has been trying to make a new life ever since. She is not interested in anything from her past. But then she is discovered by her father on a talk show. Alicja soon feels forced to take on the roles of wife, daughter and mother. The old new regime quickly threatens to suffocate her, she rebels, tries to break free – and the unasked question grows ever louder: has Alicja ever really fitted into the format of her family?
