Synopse

Upstate New York. Winter, snow, solitude. Ray (Melissa Leo) is fighting for her dream of a new trailer-home while her husband gambles away their money. Mohawk Lila (Misty Upham) needs a car to smuggle illegal immigrants over the frozen St. Lawrence River. Ray has the car, Lila has the contacts. But things go wrong on their last trip, and as they flee from the police, they fall into the hands of a Mohawk tribunal. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
