Synopse
20-year old Far’Hook is seen as one of France's future rap stars. After a disagreement with a hostile gang he has to leave Paris, so his producer Bilal persuades him to go on a tour of France. Without music, but with Bilal's father Serge. The amateur painter and pensioner has promised his wife he would search for traces of the landscape painter Joseph Vernet. Serge wants to create his own version of every work ever painted by Vernet – and Far’Hook shall be his driver. The top-class rapper and the second-class painter, the Muslim and the Christian: unwillingly, the pair set out on a trip along the coast. Gerard Depardieu once again shows off his talents as an oddball and at his side is the popular French rapper Sadek.
