Synopse
DOCUMENTARY The film uses private VHS footage (1986–1994) and shows the personal and political changes in Ukraine. Maria Stoianova's father, a figure skater from the USSR, documented foreign tours and family life. While the Soviet Union is collapsing, Ukraine is striving for independence. However, the glamorous expectations of the West stand in stark contrast to the family's dilapidated apartment.
