Synopse
The endless freedom of the swimming pool: moments, in which nothing counts more than the here and now in Niederwülst 1999. Simon (Tyrell Otoo), unremarkable and not overly popular, has just completed his Abitur and now nothing stands in the way of his becoming a successful lawyer. Just like his successful father Rainer (Benno Fürmann) expects. But instead of as planned going to his Law preparation course, Simon gets a job working at the kiosk of the local swimming pool. The reason for his change of plan is one year older than him and called Mira (Anouk Elias). The crux: Mira is not only a cool lifeguard, but also particularly gifted in the field of not smiling back.

After gaining substantial work experience and making shorts, in 2018 LAURA FISCHER (*1968) began directing series like Browser Ballett, Rudis Rasselbande and Löwenzahn. Forever Freibad is her first feature film.
