Synopse
A city-dweller rediscovers his unloved birthplace. After a long absence, Alex (Sebastian Fräsdorf) visits his old home town of Stresund. He is awaited by his bad-tempered father (Uwe Rohde), who urgently needs help following an accident. And that's not all: a lack of savings means that Alex has to pay for the costs of care. Selling his father's house proves difficult, as no-one wants to live so far off the beaten track - the village is slowly dying. Young women? Only Marie (Cornelia Gröschel) is prepared to stay. So many things to sort out represent an unwelcome burden for Alex. Yet, the longer he stays in his old home, the more it feels like the right place to be.
