Synopse
Aylin Tezel’s directorial debut is a poetic romance and a precise portrait of the 30-something generation. Kira (Aylin Tezel) and Ian (Chris Fulton) get to know each other on the Isle of Skye. Both are on the run – from both their past and present lives. A deep, almost magical connection ensues. But fate separates them once again. Both return to London without knowing that they both live in the same city, often only a few metres and coincidences apart. They must first face their own demons, before they can meet each other properly.

AYLIN TEZEL (*1983 in Bünde) came to the attention of a wide audience through her appearance in films like Almanya – Willkommen in Deutschland (2011) and Am Himmel der Tag (2014) and won numerous awards. From 2012 to 2020, she was a member of the investigative team on the Dortmund Tatort.
