Synopse

The four subplots of actor Mark Webber's directing debut centre on love, drugs and poverty. Seven-year-old Babo has asthma. His neighbour Demetrius dreams of climbing up the social ladder. Art student Michelle has an affair with her dealer. Kaleef and Jill's marriage is crumbling while their teenage son wants to participate in a muscleman contest. Set in Philadelphia, against the backdrop of a collapsing health care system, this episode film presents a kaleidoscope of life dreams. Co- Produced by Jim Jarmush.

Mark Webber, born in 1980, actor, writer and director. Has appeared in over 25 films including"Storytelling" by Todd Solondz, "Broken Flowers" by Jim Jarmush and "The Hottest State" by Ethan Hawke. "Explicit Ills" is his first time directing.
