Synopse

Crooner Alexander Ludwig (Peter Lohmeyer) is suffering from severe memory loss after a heart attack. It is as if the last ten years had not happened. He does not even recognise his wife. In the sanatorium he meets Heinrich (Paul Kuhn). Together with two other old boys they make up a jazz combo according to the motto of the Bremen Town Musicians: 'There is always something better than death'. The poignant, tragicomic story about a pop star who is given a second chance.

Nicole Weegmann (*1966)studied at the Art Academy Amsterdamand the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg.The educated photographer did herfeature film debut in 2000.
