Synopse
His heavenly job is beginning to dampen his holy spirit: every Christmas for the past 3000 years, angel Uriel (Max von Thun) has been strengthening frustrated people’s courage to face life. Then he meets the artist Laura (Yvonne Catterfeld), who works on light sculptures. She is the only person ever to be able to see and touch him. Although the bureaucratic angel Gabriel (Heikko Deutschmann) places two newcomer angels in his care, Uriel has only one concern:to become human. The film makes uninhibited use of film clichés, as well as citing Wim Wenders’ "Wings of Desire".
