Synopse
They are both outsiders: Alice (Maria Kwiatkowsky), handicapped by her hypersensitive hearing, and Kurdish refugee Berivan (Pinar Erincin) meet in a home for girls. Berivan misses her home country, while Alice has a complicated relationship to her young mother. Ays¸e Polat draws a sensitive picture of an intense friendship between two girls which is put to the test when Berivan falls in love... The two actresses won the Silver Leopard at Locarno. Ayse Polat is the winner of the Otto Sprenger Award 2004!
