Synopse
Victor Rosa (John Leguizamo) is a tough drug dealer who controls the South Bronx streets, where his runners push the popular heroin-mix, "Empire". A successful Wall Street broker, Jack Wimmer (Peter Sarsgaard), offers him a promising deal and the opportunity to get into an entirely new line of business. Former choreographer Franc Reyes has directed a straight, highpaced action thriller as an ironic commentary on the American dream, morality and class consciousness. Isabella Rossellini also makes an appearance as drug queen, La Columbiana.
