Synopse
Between assimilation and resistance: an impressive debut feature of powerful audio-visual intensity in which two brothers get caught up in the vortex of the attempted coup in Turkey in 2016. Sinan, an ambitious young officer in the Turkish Army, is given the order to transfer his elder brother Kenan, also an officer, to a military prison in the East of the country. At first, Sinan objects on family grounds, but then takes on the mission in order not to jeopardize his loyalty to the Turkish State. Their journey begins on the fateful night when a section of the Turkish Army attempts a coup against President Erdoğan and the governing AKP. The state-decreed climate of suspicion spreading across the country threatens to suck in the journey of the two brothers with it.
