Synopse
When a Russian prostitute dies under mysterious circumstances after giving birth, her midwife Anna (Naomi Watts) holds on to the woman's diary to find out more about her. Her research leads her to the local mafia, where she meets killer Nikolai (Viggo Mortensen), who needs the diary to dispose of the evidence. Then the child disappears and Anna's life is in danger…
