Synopse

A moving, yet quirky road movie with laconic Nordic humour and Icelandic landscapes. Jon is driving across Iceland to fulfil his mother’s last wish: She would a photo taken of her at the famous Gullfoss Waterfall. And it’s about time, as his mother’s corpse is sitting on the back seat. On the way, Jon is overcome by melancholy. About a life unlived still dominated by his mother beyond her death. Then something happens that changes everything – and Jon finally finds the courage to stand up against his domineering parent.
