Synopse
A »war of roses« as a recipe against a boring marriage? Andrea Sawatzki and Christian Berkel show us how in this screwball comedy. When the teasing stops, the love will too, find Anja (Andrea Sawatzki) and Christoph (Christian Berkel) and have decided to divorce after 24 years marriage. The couple would of course like to part as friends, as sensible adults. But when it becomes concrete and money raises its ugly head, along with Werner's childhood sweetheart, and Anja starts spying on him, all the wonderful serenity vanishes.

THORSTEN M. SCHMIDT (*1969) studied at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. His graduation film Rochade won the Student Oscar in 1998. His comedy Scheidung für Anfänger [Divorce for Beginners] was a competition favourite in the FILMFEST HAMBURG TV section in 2018.
